The never-ending debate of is tech good or bad for education I think should be solved by now. If it wasn't for the technological advances we wouldn't be able to continue teaching.
Meaning of Phrases

Phrases can be characterized as a specific group of words, which perform the function of a part of speech. However, they cannot be used separately as a sentence, as they have neither subject, not a predicate. Nevertheless, the combination of words in a phrase can function as a single part of speech. For example, phrases can represent a noun, adjective, adverb, etc.

The following combinations of words can be characterized as phrases:

On the table;
Above the ground;
Under the chair.
As it was mentioned above, these phrases carry some meaning but cannot serve as a separate sentence. They can form a complete sentence only in combination with other parts of speech. For example:
The vase is on the table.
The cat is under the chair.
The ball flew above the ground.

Properties of Phrases

The properties of phrases include the following:

Phrases are formed by a combination of words.
Finite verbs are never parts of the phrases;
Phrases may include non-finite verbs (gerunds, infinitive, etc).
Separately used phrases are deprived of meaning.
In order to form a grammatically correct sentence, the phrases should be used with other parts of speech.
Toppertag:www.educationbeyondborders.org,2017-03-31:2213732:Topic:732842017-03-31T17:55:55.433ZMirjan Krstovichttp://www.educationbeyondborders.org/profile/MirjanKrstovic

I do not ever want my classroom routine to be predictable. I believe that if different methods are used students get engaged more effectively. So, I am always looking for new presentation ideas and new classroom tools. Needless to say, great was my excitement when I discovered “mysimpleshow”. It is an online tool that allows you to create short explainer videos for classroom use. (Or for any use, really - you can even create invitations by creating an invitation video with this tool!) You simply sign up at www.mysimpleshow.com and the tool guides you through the video making process. You can also look at a few examples of simpleshow videos on youtube - I have already used some of these simpleshow videos, as well as created my own. Very useful indeed! If anyone can recommend other great presentation tools, please join this discussion. New ideas are always welcome!
STUDENTS AND THEIR PRIORITIEStag:www.educationbeyondborders.org,2016-05-31:2213732:Topic:709952016-05-31T18:36:14.527ZMirjan Krstovichttp://www.educationbeyondborders.org/profile/MirjanKrstovic

In this week’s episode, Dave talks to Noble Kelly about just this subject. Noble is the founder of Education Beyond Borders, an organization that is “devoted to closing the global education divide through teacher professional development and community education.” Noble talks about the work of the organization in South Africa as well as other initiatives they are taking on. Most importantly, how they are helping to meet one of the United Nations Millenium Development Goals to achieve universal primary education around the world.
