Hey Ida. My Panama adventure is about to go in March. We are very excited - I am taking 20 students to some very remote areas. They will be amazed. Check out my site: http://liti.ca/

Feel free to pass this on - I am recruiting students for next year

Wish I was going with you. You might enjoy visiting the Embera Drua, an indigenous tribe 45 minutes out of Panama that I have contact with. They have a very complete website. Your students might enjoy learning more about the problems with disappearing frogs in Panama also. Panama is a country of considerable contrast. Panama City looks like a Miami skyline. Outside the capital there is still a lot of poverty especially in rural areas. Your students would find a tour of a typical rural school enlightening.
    I'm going back this summer
