Aeroplan

As you may or may not know, the cost of travel to the various countries to deliver our workshops is the largest cost of each project (accounting for more than 50% of the total cost). To help alleviate some or most of this cost, TWB-Canada is part of the Aeroplan pooling program. Using the form below, you, people you know, your students and so on, can solicit donations of Aeroplan miles to be donated to the TWB-Canada account. To put things in perspective, if 10 people donated 10,000 Aeroplan miles each, that would be enough for one teacher to travel to Africa!

Remember this is Aeroplan miles and not Air Miles. We are allowed to solicit/collect miles for a month, so we will technically start April 1st. Get your students involved. They don’t have to go door to door. They just asks their relatives, etc. Spread the word to all your friends too! If you are photocopying forms for students, teachers, etc., make sure you keep track of who has forms (maybe put a number on them so you know how many forms you gave out). There are instructions on how to send the form directly to TWB, but they can also return the originals to you and you can collect them and send them to me (this would be preferable if you are getting your class involved). We have to send them in all at once at the beginning of May. We need the forms with the donors signature on them so you probably can also scan them (colour, 150dpi res) and email them to me as well.
