Subject area expertise: English and Social Studies at the grade 6 - 12 level, Special Education at the K- 12 level, and curriculum/teacher performance certification at the post-secondary level.
Assessment at all grade levels, evaluation of student challenges, and program considerations for program modifications. Gifted and Enrichment, elementary curriculum, and special education district coordinator in two districts.

Member of my teachers' union at the local and provincial level, also working with our provincial committee for action on social justice and organizing conferences at the local and provincial level focused on addressing the needs of students with special needs, addressing the needs of society's most vulnerable and as social justice conference dealing with the Social Justice 12 course,new to BC, to address the content and concerns regarding, in particular, homophobia.
