I am an enthusiastic and energetic teacher who is passionate about preparing students with the knowledge, skills, attributes and life experiences to become effective 21st life-long learners.

I enjoy participating in most sports particularly football playing weekly for two teams. I also have a passion for surfing and like to spend time socialising and traveling. I am currently learning to play the guitar.
If you have done work internationally, where and in what capacity?
 Carried out teaching research in Las Vegas in 2006 as part of a professional development course to gain experience working in an international school.
 An award winner at the European Innovative Teachers Awards in Zagreb sponsored by Microsoft 2008. This is for the innovative use of technology in learning.
 Carried out a research visit for the British Council in Jordan for 7 days in October 2008. This was on behalf of the Jordanian government looking at education and tourism.
 An award winner at the Worldwide Innovative Teachers Awards in Hong Kong sponsored by Microsoft 2008. This is for the innovative use of technology in learning.
 Delivered a keynote speech at the European Innovative Teachers Awards 2009 in Vienna at the Hoffburg Palace 2009.
 Invited to attend the National Education Technology conference in Washington in June 2009. I delivered a presentation as a guest speaker and also then talked on a panel that helped create the new education plan for the Obama administration.
- Travelled to Peru to live with an amazon tribe for two weeks as part of the Cool School Teacher Fellowship education programme. It was a pilot of the global charity in 2009.
