- My interest is in International Development Education with a specific focus on langauge and literacy. I recently completed my M.Ed. at OISE/ UBC in these areas. Within language and literacy, I have training in TESL, early literacy, and multicultural education. I've done some work in curriculum development and teacher training in global education.
- If you have done work internationally, where and in what capacity?
- -UNICEF India: writing a case study on assessing a pilot Sports for Development program
-China: assisted caregivers of babies at a state run orphanage
-Cambodia: volunteer TESL, and one-on-one work with instructors in non-formal education (preschool day care/ after school drop in ESL classes)

Thanks for getting in touch. I did complete the CID at UBC. I did it mostly while I was working in China. At the present moment I am working for a sports for development project in Southern Africa, in Lesotho. I have kind of moved away from school-based education at the moment. I would love to hear about your experience in India. What was the program?
