A new Global Citizenship Program part distance ed, part odyssey

I am excited about a new opportunity for Grade 11 students of BC:

Students Without Borders Academy - SWBA explores conservation of sea turtles, reefs and rain forests. SWBA students visit the Red Cross, the United Nations and the Peace Corps in Panama Central America. SWBA uses online learning, webinars, state of the art software, dynamic student travel abroad, camp setting, field study, Smithsonian Tropical Research Institutes, Spanish Language study, and Indigenous peoples studies exploring Embera and Kuna culture.

SWBA is a full semester distance/hybrid program for grade 11/12 students delivered in an innovative 3-stage platform:

1. Face to face classes and an extended, weeklong high energy boot camp

2. State of the art online coursework with regularly scheduled, live video WEBINARS and teacher support.

3. Worldview altering international 5 week odyssey in Panama, Central America

Please Check out liti.ca and help me populate this program.
