Education Beyond Borders

Here's my first blog post for The History Education Network's (THEN/HiER) blog, Teaching the Past, where contributing members share their experiences in various domains of history teaching and learning:

Most of my posts for the blog will focus on my Masters thesis research and continuing doctoral work, where I explore history education in the early elementary years. My personal interest is in how the curriculum reflects diversity and how young students can engage in rigorous historical inquiry, particularly controversial topics.
