MIGRATING EDUCATION BACK TO THE LEARNERS

How NGGE can help you!

Have you ever seen children motivated by learning?  Exciting to see, wasn’t it.  Now picture children in a normal classroom.  How motivated do they look? How much potential sits there, untapped? Why is that?

Our current educational system is one of administrative mandates, text to test promotions, budget constraints, restictive policies, charter schools, privatization of education, the insistence on separating children by grade or age or gender or tracks.  It is a system that has and continues to fail our learners, educators, parents and communities and the effects are felt globally.

Reports continuely discuss the effects of traditional homework and tests on student motivation.  If the goal is to create life-long learners why do we use motivation sapping methods?  Teachers want to serve their students, but end up serving the system.  Educators have known for generations that the system needed to be fixed.  They try and try, but the system always wins.

We need to quit talking about change and take action, focus on dramatically improving the education of the next generation.  We can do that by allowing the learner to take the lead.

Next Generation Global Education (NGGE) is the anti-system; a learner driven model of education.  We provide a support network for those wishing to collaboratively develop competent life long learners rather then merely driving the student through the system.   Each individual has passions that lead them on their learning path.  That may or may not be college.  The key is to allow learners to follow their passion

NGGE’s model allows them to do just that.  NGGE stands for nurture and self-motivation and curiosity.  Learning should be an endlessly vibrant, pulsating flow of curiosity and creativity that flows through us our entire lives. This matrix we form is the fiber of our life.

This approach makes us unique.  Many have pieces but teach to only one style of learning or one size fits all group lesson plans.  NGGE’s “explore and select” approach addresses all* learners .  Archimedes said that if he had a long enough lever and a place to stand, he could move the world. NGGE has a place, you are part of the lever.

Together we share resources, organize them for easy access for all learners, and curate them through usage.  Help us migrate education from one which is system driven to being learner driven and put the fun and enjoyment back for all learners of the Matrix.
