Why International Civic Engagement Is Important- Speaking Out and Up

The Enemy of Your Enemy Is Not Your Friend

On the surface it is easy to make a hasty generalization about people when you see a few bad actors and then project that on an entire nation.  The problem is that maybe we should quit judging people holistically by a few and start instead to reach out and meet the people we are talking about.  This is a great example of International Civic Engagement.   On Tuesday March 3 there was speech before the joint session of the U.S. Congress.  Then on March 4 there was a discussion with student from Kherad  High School in Iran about the same subject.  Look at this video and then you can see why International civic engagement is more important than ever..
