What we do

Starting in 2006, Education Beyond Borders teams have worked with colleagues in South Africa, Kenya, Tanzania and/or Uganda to

• Design and deliver in-country programs focused on learner-centred methodologies and competency-based approaches, in line with the new local curricula.  Our workshops:

  • • • feature practical classroom strategies and activities.

      • discuss adaptation to local context and culture.

      • encourage implementation in the classroom.

      • train volunteers as local facilitators and leaders.

• Give ongoing support by responding to requests from local teachers and facilitators for specific professional development topics and resources.

• Collaborate on remote learning modules.
