WELCOME TO EDUCATION BEYOND BORDERS!

Education Beyond Borders is a Canadian non-profit, non-denominational NGO (incorporated February 2007) devoted to closing the global education divide through teacher professional development and community education. We support our teacher colleagues and their students in disadvantaged regions at home and around the world by  

• Facilitating professional development initiatives

• Encouraging the implementation of learner-centred methodologies in the classroom

• Training teachers as facilitators to deliver professional development to their colleagues.

Our work seeks to contribute to the framework of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals notably:

“Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all.” SDG 4 

“By 2030, substantially increase the supply of qualified teachers, including through international cooperation for teacher training in developing countries (…)” Target 4c
